Family of Five

About

I’m a transplanted Texan, lived in California for many years, just moved to London with my husband and three children. I used to be a lawyer, but I’m over that now. For the last few years I have been focused on writing stories and being available for my children, and for the last six months I have been seduced by the magical addiction that is photography.

I started blogging because it allows me to share my writing and my photographs, and more importantly, to give myself a more regular and more public creative outlet. Because, really, what it comes down to for me lately is that I want to make art, and if I can’t make art, I’ll just make stuff, and if I can’t make stuff then I might as well die.

  1. Don’t die. I’d really hate it if you died.
Love the new look of your site!
    Love watching your evolution!
Look out: WHEN I come to visit, I may never leave, what with my cyber-girl crush being validated in real time…

  2. Thought you’d get a kick out of this. If we are able to get our families together for a picnic next spring, let’s not go here: http://lifeandhealth.guardian.co.uk/food/story/0,,2203404,00.html#article_continue
